Managing the crazy
Sometimes I feel like being a mom is like running a factory. It takes strategy and efficiency and planning and meticulous execution to keep it all running on time. And by on time, I don’t really mean on time (because that rarely happens anymore), I really just mean running… barely. Oh yes, motherhood, one of my two full time jobs. Putting Family First
Tonight I enjoyed the first Sunday since October with the boys and Blake. You see, when Blake took his latest job to be a restaurant chef, the trade-off was that three nights during the week and all weekend he’d be working. How do you have time to blog?
I’ve gotten this question a lot – how do you have time to blog? If you’ve read any of my kid-related posts, you know that I’ve seriously got my hands full. However, I would not call myself a super-mom. The truth is that my blogging (and cooking, for that matter) are things that I really enjoy doing and so I make time for them. Everyone has things that they make time for – exercise, sleep, reading, Facebook, TV – no judgment at all on how people choose to use their time, but my point is that I choose to make time in my day for the things that make me…
