I’m starting a blog!

So I’ve finally decided to start a blog. The conditions have been favorable for a while… I love to cook, my kids (1 and 3) provide me with endless sitcom-quality humor to share, I love to throw a party and I have a tendency every once in a while to go a tad overboard with them, I have a DSLR camera that I am trying to master, and in my heart I am still the same ole yearbook editor from high school who likes to organize words and pictures to tell a story.

My recent addiction to Pinterest has pushed me over the edge with this venture – taking me to other blogs of people who are creative and witty and take awesome pictures of the delicious food they make, and I decided that I wanted in on the fun!

I am a 30-something wife and working mother.  I’ve been married for almost 5 years to my husband, Blake (who happens to be a chef), and have two little boys, Brogan (3) and Beckett (1). I am a UF grad (and huge Gator fan, sometimes one of the obnoxious ones). I grew up in a small town in central Florida, have lived in and around Atlanta for over 7 years and consider myself Southern. I love country music, down-home cooking (I believe in butter), and on occasion I’m fixin‘ to do something.

So here I am. Let the blogging begin!
